Over the years, we have grown from a small community group into a nationally and internationally networked center for LGBTSTGNC POC and allied communities. Now, with an ever-increasing membership, expanding programs, bigger events, and inventive new work as a resource and organizing center, ALP is raising $1 million to buy a new home, by the end of 2008!

This new home will be able to accommodate at least three simultaneous meetings and have an event space. ALP's new home will have room for staff and programs to grow, fully equipped with the technology needed to run our programs at full capacity. ALP will have space for other LGBTSTGNC People of Color organizations to meet and access office facilities, and will house ALP's growing treasure of LGBTST People of Color organizing archives - making ALP a stronger resource center and organizing center. We are working hard - and we need your help!

A Few Simple Ways to Support the Campaign

1. Donate today to ALP's Capital Campaign! We hope that you will join us in this journey to bring our work to a new level. Help us continue to build a space for many movements. To make a donation, please download a donation form or donate online through Network for Good. Please make sure to note that your donation is for the Capital Campaign.
2. Join us this year for our 10-for-10 Campaign - party with us in 10 cities, to celebrate our 10th Anniversary! This summer, friends and community members of ALP will host parties all over the city and the country, to raise money for the Capital Campaign. We will be partying in Seattle, Oakland, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Denver, and other cities, and co-hosting joint fundraisers with ally organizations in each city. 3. Provide professional advice and services related to moving and space rental/acquisition (e.g., real estate law, architecture and construction services, etc.)
