Membership Kickback + BK Pride Art Build
Join us for our quarterly membership kickback -- this time with an art build spin! We will be meeting ~in-person~ to chat about what's going on at ALP, how to get involved with organizing around Pride, and to make banners and signs for our upcoming contingent at Brooklyn Pride's Twilight Parade.
We'll have food and drinks for folks so please RSVP in advance so that we can have an accurate headcount and send details on where we'll be meeting! Bring lots of picnic blankets and your ideas for protest art centering the theme "From NYC to Palestine, Occupation is a Crime". In the event of poor weather, we'll reach out with a rain location -- please note that masking will be required if we meet indoors.
Reach out to anqa@alp.org with any questions or offerings! As a reminder, all of our member meetings are open only to queer and/or trans people of color. Allies, please reach out to Anqa for other ways to be involved and sustain QTPOC organizing at ALP!
